Hi, I’m Carly — Owner & Master Groomer of Little Paws Dog Grooming Stylist.
With over 24 years of experience in the dog grooming industry, dogs have truly been my life’s passion. My journey began in a small family-owned salon, and funnily enough, one of the very first salons I ever worked in was Perfect Pooches here in Clontarf — which has now come full circle as I proudly own and operate it today alongside Little Paws Dog Grooming Stylist.
Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering the art of grooming through ongoing education, competition grooming, mentoring, and building salons that focus on quality, care, and genuine relationships with both dogs and their owners. I am a qualified Master Groomer through the NDGAA and have completed certifications in Pet First Aid & CPR, Canine Health Awareness & Infection Control, Safe Handling & Restraint, Dog Behaviour & Psychology, and Pet Nutrition.
Throughout my career, I’ve competed in many prestigious grooming competitions including Ausgroom, Sydney Royal, Melbourne Royal, and The Pup Cup, receiving multiple awards and placements in scissoring, poodles, spaniels, hand stripping, and all-round styling. While I’m incredibly proud of my achievements, my biggest passion has always been helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and beautiful while building a salon environment clients can truly trust.
I specialise in oodle styling, hand scissoring, teddy bear finishes, nervous or anxious dogs, and creating calm, positive grooming experiences tailored to each individual pup. I strongly believe grooming is so much more than just a haircut — it’s about trust, patience, education, and treating every dog like family.
In 2024, I opened Little Paws Dog Grooming Stylist with a vision of creating a luxury, calm, family-owned salon where both clients and staff feel welcomed, supported, and cared for. Since then, Little Paws has continued to grow into the beautiful waterfront salon we are today — something I am beyond proud of.
Outside of the salon, I’m a proud mum, business owner, mentor, and someone who genuinely pours her heart into everything she does. Watching our team grow, mentoring the next generation of groomers, and seeing happy pups walk out feeling their absolute best is what makes this career so rewarding for me.

Salon Manager | Fluff Artist
Hi, I’m Lyla — although most people know me as Lala! I’m the Salon Manager here at Little Paws Dog Grooming Stylist and have been part of the Little Paws family from the very beginning.
I’ve always had a strong love for animals and a passion for hands-on work, so stepping into the grooming industry felt like the perfect fit for me. What started as helping Carly around the salon quickly turned into a genuine passion for caring for dogs and making every pup feel safe, loved, and comfortable during their visit.
At home, I have two beautiful Cavoodle x Shih Tzu puppies, Mama and Tae Tae, who absolutely rule my world. They’ve only strengthened my love and understanding of dogs and the importance of patience, kindness, and trust when caring for them.
I pride myself on being mature, approachable, and dedicated to creating a calm and positive experience for both our clients and their pups. Whether I’m helping in the salon, cuddling nervous dogs, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, I truly love being part of the Little Paws team and watching every dog leave looking and feeling their best.
Fluff Artist | Dominique
Hi! I’m Dominique — but most people call me Dom.
I’m a proud dog mum to Oakley, my little long-haired chocolate Dachshund, who absolutely has my whole heart. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and working with them every day is something I genuinely love and feel so passionate about.
Alongside studying Youth Mental Health at university, I’ve built strong experience within the grooming industry and love being hands-on with every pup that comes into the salon. Thanks to Carly, who inspired my love for grooming, I’ve developed a real passion for creating a calm, positive, and loving experience for every dog in my care.
I’m known for my gentle nature, patience, and the close bonds I build with the dogs I work with. Whether it’s helping nervous pups feel safe, giving endless cuddles and belly rubs, or making sure every groom is finished beautifully, I always treat every dog like they’re one of my own.
Fluff Artist Trainee | Aiesha
Hi, I’m Aiesha!
I’ve been part of the Little Paws family for the past 8 months working as a Spa Pawfectionist, where I absolutely fell in love with the grooming industry and caring for all of our beautiful pups. Being around dogs every day has quickly become one of my favourite parts of life, and I’m so excited to now be continuing my journey as a Fluff Artist Trainee under the guidance of Carly and Lyla while learning the art of grooming.
Alongside working in salon, I also work within the nursing industry, so caring for others has always come naturally to me. I love creating a calm, gentle, and loving environment for every dog that comes through our doors, especially those who may feel a little nervous or unsure. Building trust with each pup and making them feel safe and comfortable is something I truly pride myself on.
I’m incredibly passionate about learning and growing within the grooming world, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such an experienced and supportive team while I continue developing my skills.
Outside of the salon, I love spending time at the beach with my dog, camping, and enjoying the outdoors.
I feel so lucky to be part of the Little Paws family and cannot wait to continue growing as a groomer while giving every pup lots of love, cuddles, and care along the way.
Spa Pawfectionist | Fletcher
Fletcher is a valued member of the Little Paws team, bringing a gentle presence, dedication to excellence, and a genuine love for every dog in his care. At just 19, Fletcher’s strong work ethic and natural connection with animals make him a wonderful part of our spa experience.
He believes grooming is more than just a service — it’s about building trust, creating comfort, and forming meaningful relationships with each pup. Fletcher takes the time to understand every dog’s individual personality, ensuring they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout their visit.
Outside the salon, Fletcher enjoys soccer and cricket, reflecting his energetic spirit and team-focused mindset — qualities he carries into his work each day.
Fletcher’s patience, kindness, and attention to each dog’s wellbeing make him a beautiful addition to the Little Paws family.
Spa Pawfectionist | Renee
Hi! I’m Renee, and I’m so excited to be part of the Little Paws family as a Spa Pawfectionist. Ever since I was little, I’ve always had a huge love for animals, which is what inspired me to begin studying my Certificate III in Animal Studies at Redcliffe TAFE as I work towards building my career in the animal industry.
Working with dogs every day is something I truly enjoy, and I love being able to help each pup feel comfortable, loved, and cared for during their visit with us. Whether it’s bath time, cuddles, or helping them look and feel their best, I always make sure every dog is treated with kindness, patience, and gentle care.
I’m passionate about continuing to learn and grow within the industry, and I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such an experienced and supportive team at Little Paws. I can’t wait to meet all of your beautiful pups and spoil them like they’re my own!

Meet Lily, our wonderful junior team member! You’ll find her in the salon on Saturdays and during school holidays. Lily is a bright, happy soul with a genuine love for dogs and a joyful attitude that lights up the salon. She’s an important part of our Little Paws family.
Junior Spa Pawfectionist | Lilah
Hey! I’m Lilah, one of the Junior Spa Pawfectionists here at Little Paws Dog Grooming Stylist. I currently work Saturdays and school holidays while completing Year 10, and I absolutely love spending my time surrounded by dogs and learning more about the grooming industry every day.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m so excited to be building a future working with them. At home, I have two beautiful Saint Bernards, Kingsley & Kalani, as well as my gorgeous Cocker Spaniel, Phoebe — so life is definitely never quiet!
I love being part of the Little Paws team and getting to help care for all of our amazing pups. Whether it’s bath time, cuddles, or making sure every dog feels safe and loved during their visit, I always do my best to make their experience a happy one. I’m so grateful to be learning from such an experienced and supportive team as I continue working towards my dream career with dogs
Aunty Fee | Daycare
Hi,
I’m Aunty Fee — your pup’s second favourite human!
After retiring in June 2025, I wanted to fill my days with love, laughter, and wagging tails. I’ve always adored dogs, and offering doggie daycare and pet sleepovers lets me enjoy all the puppy cuddles while still having the freedom to travel the world — the best of both worlds!
When I’m not caring for my furry guests, you’ll find me spending time with my wonderful husband, our adult children, and my four beautiful grandchildren. Family means everything to me — and when your pet stays with me, they become part of that family too.
I also love popping into the grooming salon to meet all the happy pups (and sneak in a few extra cuddles!).
At Aunty Fee’s, your pet is treated like one of my own — loved, spoiled, and completely at home. 💕
